Roversi’s second album was actually music for the motion picture movie ”Un’anno in Torbiera”, directed by Franco Zaffanella. But this time the man found the chance to exhibit his undenied Banks-ian influences and offer an (almost) instrumental, all keyboard-driven album with lots of synthesizer, piano, Mellotron samplers and bass. There are no guitars and furthermore no drums in the album, which is characterized by its romantic soundscapes and proggy solos on keyboards, meeting the principles of Electronic Music, Symphonic Rock and even Ambient. The last track ”Tripping” features Simone Rossetti of The Watch fame on voice and lyrics by Prog lyrics’ sponsor Antonio De Sarno and it is actually an older version of the track ”Soaring on”, appearing later in The Watch‘es album ”Primitive”.You love Tony Banks, you will love Roversi’s efforts on ”The park”.
