After opening for some major prog acts in Italy and having released
some demos, including the tribute to King Crimson for Mellow Records,
this is finally the first complete CD by this promising band from
Bologna.
Prophexy play what they call “pro-aggressive music”, so be prepared
for rather aggressive, hard edged and pretty complex sounds, tough
this is definitively not sheer prog metal. Closest comparisons that
come to our mind are a sort of more evil Deus Ex Machina or even
Gecko’s tear or Garden Wall. Nice and absolutely worth a try.
