Limited edition vinyl version of only 300 copies for the fifth work “Atonement Of a Former Sailor Turned Painter” by Submarine Silence
A peculiarity of the album is the use, in addition to mainly English, also of other languages such as French, Portuguese, Creole and Dutch, aimed at emphasizing the story told of a wandering sailor who finds atonement for his stormy past in the art of painting. A story that then finds a full evocative response in the images of the artwork by the artist Ed Unitsky that thus complete a splendid work.
The new album now benefits from a new and definitive line-up that sees a new rhythm section with Marco Croci (ex-Maxophone) and Maurizio Di Tollo (Ex-Maschera di Cera) and the confirmation of the two vocalists, Guillermo Gonzales and Manuela Milanese, to consolidate the line-up of the ensemble led by Cristiano Roversi and David Cremoni
What a cameo to enhance even more this new work by Submarine Silence, the presence of Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings) in the opening track “Majestic Whales”, for the first time a guest on an Italian progressive rock album
