L’Uovo di Colombo, a leading band of the “progressive” scene of the 70s, exactly fifty years after the release of the LP of the same name, is reconstituted for a new work with the only surviving leader Elio Volpini accompanied by Stefano Vicarelli ( Keyboards), Sabrina Scriva (Bass) and Lucrezio De Seta (Drums).
The new band has given life to a revisitation of some songs from the old production as well as new unreleased songs, each of which performed by exceptional guests including Antonio and Agostino Marangolo, Carlo Pennisi, Fabio Cerrone, Pino Ballarini, Luciano Regoli and many others.
The project also includes some songs from the production of Flea (from Topi o Uomini) and Etna (from the homonymous Etna).
The group will perform live with the new staff over the next few months.
