It was November 1960 when the first’s Dalida’s album, sang in italian was released.
The Barclay label was founded by Eddie Barclay in 1954 and in Italy was distributed by SAAR through the Jolly Label.
Dalida, from the beginning she is already an international star and her records are successfully released all over the world.
The Jolly has distributed Dalida’s 45 rpm in his country since January 1959, the catalog will be increased also by numerous extended play with four songs and by a couple of LPs with reduced size diameter, inherited from the old, recently disappeared 78 rpm.
Today in two CDs released by Jolly there are included the unique album from 1961 and 20 more songs released on other media between 1959 and 1962.
