Originally released in 1973, “Dedicato a Frazz” represents a unicum within the Italian progressive rock scene, an incredibly mature album for the average age of the musicians, who were almost all underage when they recorded this beautiful piece of art.
The album is widely based on the alternation of dissonances with an anguished aftertaste and bucolic moments, and mainly thrives on Michele Zarrillo’s talent who, like a seasoned musician, delivers heavy rock riffs and excellent guitar solos, combined with a distressed and expressive vocal approach. All of this is well supported by keyboards, blending together the various sections of the songs.
“Dedicato a Frazz” is a real gem that still today deserves to be highly appreciated by fans of Italian progressive music.
Clear green vinyl edition with gatefold sleeve and faithful reproduction of the original artwork.
