“Ed è subito autunno” is the latest work by AIRPORTMAN.
In this album the band has tried to describe that feeling of happiness mixed with melancholy that generates abandonment, a bit like if autumn suddenly arrived on a full summer day; you still feel all the heat of hot days, but you suddenly find yourself wrapped in a gloomy day.
It is the feeling that generates a departure, not necessarily painful, the feeling of a father who sees his children take flight, happiness, worry and the sense of loss.
Giovanni Risso and Marco Lamberti simply found themselves facing each other, two guitars, a direct, bare dialogue, without filters and overdubs, a sincere and direct analysis of this feeling trying to translate it into music.
