In 2017 after a long break of almost 40 years, the composer and multi-instrumentalist Ciro Perrino reconstituted Celeste and the composition work culminated after two years with the release of a brand new album, “Il Risveglio del Principe” (2019), modeled on a little about the sound of the band’s first album, “Principe di un Giorno” released in 1976. Perrino in all the years following the release of “Principe di un Giorno” has created other bands such as St. Tropez and La Compagnia Digitale, and then he took particular care of his solo career by releasing about fifteen albums that have touched all types of music, from electronic to symphonic and boasts collaborations with illustrious artists . Without counting the release of unpublished and archive material in 2020 with “Flashes From Archives Of Oblivion”, Il Principe del Regno Perduto” (The Prince of the Lost Kingdom) is to be considered the second album of the new course but still the third official album of the band where once again the original symphonic rock style is developed. The musicians on the 2019 album remain the same, with Perrino handling a dozen or more keyboards, including Hammond organ, Mellotron, piano, Solina, a number of different synthesizers, small percussion and playing the lead vocal role, alongside the drummer Enzo Cioffi, bassist Francesco Bertone, Mauro Vero on acoustic and electric guitars, Marco Moro on flutes, recorders, tenor and baritone sax and violinist Sergio Caputo. In the official CD version there are seven tracks for a total duration of about 62 minutes, and then there is the Vinyl version with a different track list (three tracks less due to fidelity).
