On the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Fabrizio De André (18 February 1940), on 21 February PFM – Premiata
Forneria Marconi releases the new live album "PFM CANTA DE ANDRÉ ANNIVERSARY" (Aereostella).
The songs were recorded during the 2023/2024 tour which celebrated 45 years (1978/1979) of the iconic partnership between
the prog band and the Genoese singer-songwriter, a meeting that profoundly marked Italian music and gave birth to
a unique fusion between progressive rock and the poetry of songwriting.
In the album Franz Di Cioccio (lead vocal and drum) and Patrick Djivas (bass), with Lucio Fabbri (violin), Alessandro Scaglione
(keyboard), Marco Sfogli (guitar) and Eugenio Mori (drum). Special guests Flavio Premoli (piano, minimumog and vocal),
Michele Ascolese (acoustic guitar) and Luca Zabbini (keyboard, guitar and vocal).
The tracklist of "PFM Canta De André Anniversary" will retrace some of the most famous songs from De André's repertoire,
reinterpreted with the unmistakable sound of Premiata Forneria Marconi.
