One of the most iconic and influential albums of all time, Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon celebrates 50 years. An early version of The Dark Side of The Moon was premiered at The Rainbow Theater in London, many months before the band entered the studio. was recorded in two sessions in 1972 and 1973 at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road studios) in London. is Pink Floyd’s eighth studio album and was originally released in March 1973. The album’s iconic packaging, which features the spectrum of a prism, was designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis. The new deluxe box set includes CD and gatefold vinyl of the studio album remastered by James Guthrie, Blu-Ray + DVD with original 5.1 audio and remastered stereo versions. The set also includes an additional Blu-ray of Atmos mixes, plus CD and LP of The Dark Side of the Moon – Live at Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974.
