“Contaminazione” is the third album by Il Rovescio della Medaglia, originally released in 1973 by RCA Italiana, a work with a strong symphonic influence thanks to Luis Enríquez Bacalov’s arrangements, that still showcases the hard rock riffs of the band’s early days; “Contamination”, released only two years later, in 1975, is the same album version sung in English, over remixed original songs. Arranged by Luis Enríquez Bacalov, it refers to symphonic prog, especially in the inclusion of “The Well-Tempered Clavier” by Johann Sebastian Bach.
