Consisting of two long jazz pieces characterized by the presence of odd tempos (hence the title), the album featured the inscription “Live Alcione”. In reality, the recording of the concert at the Alcione turned out to have such poor sound quality that the group decided to re-record it in the studio, albeit live.
The album’s lack of commercial and critical success was one of the reasons that led to the reunion of the New Trolls.
