Tagliaferro & La Compagnia dell’Es announce the imminent release of the album “The Sound of the Spheres/ Il Suono Delle Sfere,” available through OWL RECORDS in a captivating bilingual edition (English/Italian). The CD will be distributed from 30th May 2025 by BTF.
This ambitious progressive rock project is a unique sonic journey, an odyssey inspired by the ANKH, the ancient Egyptian key symbolising eternal life. The album invites the listener on a cosmic exploration ranging from Earth to the Moon and the planets of the solar system, each evoked by the names of ancient gods. Through cosmic rhythms and vibrant energies, “Il Suono delle Sfere / The Sound of the Spheres” encourages a vision that transcends the boundaries of earthly existence, reminding us that “matter is merely stardust; the divine is our vital flame, the spiritual energy from which everything is born.”
The original music composing this sonic universe emerged from the creative synergy of Paola Tagliaferro and Pier Gonella, with intense and profound lyrics penned by P. Tagliaferro. The album also boasts the invaluable poetic collaboration of Claudio Pozzani on the track “MARTE” and José Pulido on “PLUTONE.”
A distinctive element of this work is its fascinating cover art, a collaboration between Paola Tagliaferro and the talented young contemporary artist Fiamma Diletta Cremonese. Fiamma’s works deeply impressed the author with their ability to represent the spirituality of the human body. Starting from a photograph of Paola’s form, Fiamma managed to evoke an ethereal and powerful vision: the astral body’s light projected towards the celestial spheres.
