You hear sounds but you feel music. TDR is a project about \u2018more than music\u2019, about now and then, present and past. It is music and images as well. To see what one feels is a language of boundless parameters: it\u2019s about sharing communication beyond words. What is other than music and images to do it then? In TDR project, music and video stay togheter to create a movie, a juice of emotions in which distance between sounds and images is reduced to the minimum to set free our \u2019emotional loops\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cTre\u201d marks The Dining Rooms’ debut on Schema Records, after two albums released on the research label Milano2000, \u201cSubterranean Modern\u201d and \u201cNumeroDeux\u201d, plus a lot of appearances on the most important atmospheric-downtempo compilations. It’s one of the most representatives records of the TDR sound: in fact, it has always been one of Schema Records’ best selling albums, even in the United States where it has been distributed by Guidance Records and some of its tracks have been synchronized in the TV Series “Sex and the City” and “CSI Miami”.<\/p>\n
The album contains 12 tracks, 12 elements redefining the borders of TDR music, drawing inspiration from Jazz, Africanism, Hip-Hop, House, Soul with true eclectism. A turning point in TDR’s history, originally released in 2003, it still sounds modern and fresh even after more than 20 years.<\/p>\n
Some great guests like SoulPatrol from Compost, Anna Clementi (the voice of G-Stone Tosca project) and the undiscovered talent of Sean Martin (he\u2019ll touch your soul with his incredible voice) give the record a special touch, but the remarkable main feature is the mastery of the music matter that Stefano Ghittoni and Cesare Malfatti show us in this chapter: you can\u2019t any longer use standard clich\u00e9s and genres to describe it.
