Stavolta nella Locanda del Vento (Lizard side label dedicata al prog italiano di matrice seventies) viene ospitata, con grande condivisione, la band sarda degli ENTITY, forte di una sua lunga storia.<\/span><\/div>\n
Gli ENTITY nascono nel 1994 grazie a Mauro Mulas (tastiere) e Gigi Longu (basso, chitarra), caratterizzati da sonorità progressive particolarmente sinfoniche, ricche di eleganti architetture compositive. <\/span><\/div>\n
Dopo i primi riscontri a ridosso di un primo demo-tape del 1995  (“Fantasia”) e un paio di CD mai pubblicati ufficialmente a cavallo tra il 1999 e il 2002 e  (“Il naufragio della speranza” e “Entità Doppia”) negli anni ’90, il gruppo trova le prime difficoltà e si scioglie, confluendo in altri progetti.<\/span><\/div>\n
Nel 2009 gli ENTITY si riformano con nuovo entusiasmo e nuove composizioni che diventeranno nel 2013 il CD<\/span><\/div>\n
“Il Falso Centro”, concept album dalle tematiche particolarmente introspettive, tra alienazione e consapevolezza.<\/span><\/div>\n
Il sound è sempre caratterizzato dallo straordinario lavoro tastieristico di Mauro Mulas, musicista talentuoso (anche di professione), ben coadiuvato dal fido Gigi Longu (basso), Marco Panzino (batteria), Marcello Mulas (chitarra), Sergio Calafiura (voce). Una straordinaria alternanza di dinamiche che a può ricordare i fasti delle sonorità più creative degli EL&P, con grande dispiegamento tastieristico (Hammond, piano, moog, vintage synths), non privo di sferzate chitarristiche e di un lirismo sofferto ed intimistico (pregevoli i testi di Yuri Deriu rintracciabili nell’allegato pdf).<\/span><\/div>\n
Un concept che sa coniugare efficacemente momenti di struggente poesia alla grandeur del miglior progressive sinfonico: particolrmente significativi gli oltre 16 minuti di “Il Desiderio”, tra continue variazioni ritmiche e atmosferiche. Ma tutto il disco persegue una propria identità e coerenza espressiva, dai cromatismi pianistici di “Davanti allo specchio” (4’45”), alla malinconia de “Il Tempo (8’41”), alle tensioni sinfo-rock di “Il Trip dell’Ego” (5’26”), alla forza lirica di “ANT” (9’27”), all’incedere rock (con sviluppi sinfonici) di “L’armatura” (12’42”), al finale inquieto ma consapevole de “La Notte oscura dell’anima” (5’59”)<\/span><\/div>\n
Bentornati ENTITY!!!   Non potevate mancare nella storia del progressive rock italiano!!<\/span>
“Il Falso Centro” è un grande disco per suggellare nel 2014 un grande ventennale!!!<\/span><\/div>\n

ENTITY is a band from Sardinia, formed in 1994. Now they come back with the masterpiece concept album “Il Falso Centro”, the first official CD with a symphonic progressive sound in the vein of EL&P. <\/span>
7 long tracks (“Il Desiderio” is the longest one with over 16 minutes) for over an hour of dynamic and adventurous (also bombastic) symphonic prog-rock.  A great sarabande of vintage keyboards (Hammond, moog, piano, vintage synths at thei best) in excellent prog-rock project!!<\/span>
The talent and great playing and compositions of Mauro Mulas (keyboards) is the excellent mark of Entity’s music. But all the other musicians, Gigi Longu (bass), Marco Panzino (drums), Marcello Mulas (guitar), Sergio Calafiura (vocals), create a special symphonic, dynamic and poetic project.<\/span><\/div>\n
