Their songs follow unpredictable paths: sometimes they emerge from complex compositional strategies, sometimes they&rsquo;re just driven by the desire to walk through harmonies, vocal arabesques, instrumental unisons and phases. It is a music which belongs to the tradition of experimental pop and rock &mdash; artists like the Beatles, Rock In Opposition, Frank Zappa &mdash; yet it doesn&#8217;t step again on their trail, the aim being to venture further along the course shown by these &laquo; pioneers &raquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Loomings were founded in 2012 by Jacopo Costa, an Italian musician living in Strasbourg. Within Loomings, three classical trained singers (Maria Denami, Ludmila Schwartzwalder and Beno&icirc;t Rameau) join their forces to the jazzy groove provided by Louis Haessler (bass) and to the percussions and the electronics devices controlled by Enrico Pedicure et Jacopo Costa. The result of this blend, now poetic, now ironic or powerful, invites the most adventurous listeners to discover new musical territories.<\/p>\n<p>Mastering by Udi Koomran<\/p>\n<p>Mixing by Paolo Botta<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>I Loomings sono un mix unico di voci, percussioni, suoni acustici ed elettronici. Le loro canzoni seguono percorsi imprevedibili: a volte emergono da complesse strategie compositive, altre volte sono spinte semplicemente dal desiderio di esplorare armonie, arabeschi vocali, unisoni e sfasamenti strumentali. &Egrave; una musica che appartiene alla tradizione del rock e del pop sperimentali &mdash; dai Beatles a Zappa passando per il Rock In Opposition&nbsp; &mdash; senza tuttavia ripercorrere le orme di questi &#8220;pionieri&#8221;, ma affermando la volont&agrave; di avventurarsi pi&ugrave; in l&agrave; lungo la via da loro indicata. I Loomings sono stati fondati nel 2012 da Jacopo Costa, musicista italiano residente a Strasburgo.<\/p>\n<p>Nella band tre cantanti di formazione classica (Maria Denami, Ludmila Schwartzwalder e Beno&icirc;t Rameau) uniscono le forze con il groove jazzy di Louis Haessler (basso) e con le percussioni e gli strumenti elettronici affidati a Enrico Pedicone e a Jacopo stesso.
