Matilde di Canossa è stata la donna più importante del medio evo. Su di lei sono state scritte e dette fiumi di parole, e nei secoli il suo mito è cresciuto sempre più.                                   <\/p>\n

Nella moltitudine di racconti ascoltati per caso o ricorrenti in diversi libri della tradizione fiabesca di Reggio Emilia, ricorre spesso Matilde di Canossa, cosi’ nasce il progetto “Matelda”<\/strong> ideato da Gigi Cavalli Cocchi<\/strong> e Marina Ligabue<\/strong>, che stimolati da queste testimonianze, hanno deciso di raccontarle in musica con un disco intitolato “Leggende”<\/strong>  e con uno spettacolo che le riproponga dal vivo.<\/p>\n

Leggende antiche e piu’ recenti, frutto della fantasia del popolo di un tempo e di odierni novelli menestrelli.<\/p>\n

Il genere musicale unisce elementi di musica celtica con il rock acustico e la canzone d’autore, sonorità classiche e cadenze folk. Il gruppo si completa con Daniele Morelli e Filippo Chieli, straordinari musicisti dal rinomato pedigree.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Matilde of Canossa was the most important woman of the Middle Ages. Over her have been written and called rivers of words, and over the centuries her myth has grown more and more.<\/p>\n

In the multitude of tales heard occasionally or recurring in various books of the fairy-tale tradition of Reggio Emilia, often Matilde of Canossa often uses Matelda’s “Matelda” project conceived by Gigi Cavalli Cocchi and Marina Ligabue, which stimulated by these testimonies, decided to tell them in music with a disc called “Leggende” and with a show that re-performs them alive. Ancient and recent legends, the result of the fantasy of the people of a time and of today’s novice menestrelli.<\/p>\n

The musical genre combines elements of Celtic music with acoustic rock and the song of author, classical sonorities and folk cadences. The group completes with Daniele Morelli and Filippo Chieli, extraordinary musicians from the renowned pedigree.<\/p>\n

Marina Ligabue<\/strong>: voce, flauto e bodran.<\/p>\n

Daniele Morelli: <\/strong>chitarra acustica e classica (Andrea Mingardi, Paola Turci, Gianni Morandi).<\/p>\n

Filippo Chieli<\/strong>: violino, viola (Cristina Donà, Modena City Ramblers, Lassociazione).<\/p>\n
