Nata nel 1998, la band rock italiana RanestRane si distingue nella scena prog rock italiana grazie alle sue esibizioni dal vivo, chiamate “CineConcerto”: la band compone ed esegue testi e musica originali, fondendoli con brevi estratti di un film, proiettati sullo sfondo. La colonna sonora originale è quasi interamente sostituita dalla nuova colonna sonora.<\/p>\n
Il progetto non è né una semplice sonorizzazione dal vivo, né una semplice proiezione con un suono di sincronizzazione. La band mira a rielaborare il film artistico, al fine di indurre il pubblico a pensare che il film sia stato scritto per accompagnare la musica e non viceversa.<\/p>\n
I concept album così concepiti si trasformano in vere opere rock. Le parti vocali con testi originali si intrecciano con frammenti dei dialoghi cinematografici, arricchendo così la sceneggiatura e fungendo da sfondo narrativo per esplorare nuovi punti di vista. RanestRane crea così un nuovo approccio al modo in cui gli spettatori sperimentano lo screening del film.<\/p>\n
2020 Il nuovo progetto RanestRane è: THE WALL – Il Cineconcerto<\/p>\n
Il film di Alan Parker è esattamente ciò che ha ispirato la band – oltre 20 anni fa – a intraprendere un viaggio originale e multimediale nella scena rock contemporanea. Da novembre 2020 inizierà la prima tranche del tour che toccherà alcune città italiane, per poi sbarcare in Europa nel maggio 2021. Nel 2019 celebriamo il 40 ° anniversario della pubblicazione dell’album dei Pink Floyd “The Wall”. È un onore per la band italiana rendere omaggio a questo capolavoro. La reinterpretazione personale dei Ranestrane della colonna sonora del film e della musica originale e delle parti totalmente inedite sarà accompagnata da una completa sincronizzazione con il film, per creare quello che ora è il “marchio” del Ranestrane: il Cineconcerto, uno spettacolo unico nel suo genere.<\/p>\n

Born in 1998, the Italian rock band RanestRane (that means “Strange Frogs”) stands out in the Italian rock prog scene thanks to its live performances, named as “CineConcert”: the band composes and performs original lyrics and music, blending them with short excerpts from a movie, projected in the background. The original score is almost entirely replaced by the new soundtrack.<\/p>\n
The project is neither a merely live sonorization, nor a simple projection with a sync sound. The band aims to re-elaborate the art \ufb01lm, in order to lead audience to think that the movie has been written to accompany the music and not viceversa.<\/p>\n
Concept albums so conceived turn into real Rock Operas. The vocal parts featuring original lyrics are intertwined with fragments of the \ufb01lm dialogues, thereby enriching the script and serving as narrative backdrop to explore new viewpoints. RanestRane thus create a new approach to the way spectators experience the \ufb01lm screening.<\/p>\n

Alan Parker’s film is exactly what inspired the band – over 20 years ago – to embark on an original and multimedia journey into the contemporary rock scene. From November 2019 will start the first tranche of the tour that will touch some Italian cities, and then land across Europe in May 2020. in 2019 we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the publication of the Pink Floyd album “The Wall”. It is an honor for the Italian Band to pay tribute to this masterpiece The Ranestranes’ personal reinterpretation of the soundtrack of the movie and original music will be accompanied by a complete synchronization with the film, to create what is now the “brand” of the Ranestranes: the Cineconcerto, a unique show of its kind.<\/p>\n
