A tredici anni distanza da Brevi Momenti di Presenza, gli Anatrofobia tornano a pubblicare un album (formato vinile), il settimo in studio della loro quasi trentennale carriera.<\/strong> Le novità non potevano mancare, a partire dalla line-up che a fianco degli “storici” Luca Cartolari ed Andrea Biondello, annovera Cristina Trotto Gatta (già in Masche) che riesce magicamente ad arricchire il suono in una band storicamente strumentale, così come l’anima e gli strumenti punk di Paolo Cantù (Makhno). Infine, come suonano Anatrofobia? Ci aiuta Nazim Comunale, da The New Noise, con parole di qualche tempo fa: Troppo colti e cerebrali per il jazzcore, troppo punk per gli ambienti accademici, troppo silenziosi per gli amanti del free più fisico, troppo intelligenti per chi crede che basti un sassofono per poter dire che quello è jazz<\/strong>, capaci di muoversi con disinvoltura tra ombre di contemporanea e ruggini rock,<\/strong> in una terra di mezzo ignota e non ancora colonizzata dove convivono felicemente un approccio selvaggio eppure controllato e calibratissimo al suono e alle sue componenti dinamiche e timbriche, le ansie da hardcore da camera dei grandi Koch Schutz e Studer<\/strong> (forse il punto di riferimento più stabile per la band) con i profili della storia del jazz libero rivisti attraverso una lente sempre personale e coraggiosa.

Thirteen years after “Brevi momenti di presenza”, Anatrofobia are back to release an album (vinyl format), the seventh in the studio of their almost thirty-year career<\/strong>. The news could not miss, starting from the line-up that alongside the “historians” Luca Cartolari and Andrea Biondello, includes Cristina Trotto Gatta (already in Masche) who magically manages to enrich the sound in a historically instrumental band, as well as the soul and punk instruments by Paolo Cantù (Makhno). Finally, how do Anatrofobia sound? Nazim Comunale helps us, from The New Noise, with words of some time ago: Too cultured and cerebral for jazzcore, too punk for academic circles, too silent for lovers of more physical free, too intelligent for those who believe that a saxophone to be able to say that that’s jazz, capable of moving with ease between shadows of contemporary and rusty rock<\/strong>, in an unknown and not yet colonized middle ground where a wild yet controlled and very calibrated approach to sound and its dynamic components coexist happily timbres, the chamber hardcore anxieties of the great Koch Schutz and Studer<\/strong> (perhaps the most stable point of reference for the band) with the profiles of the history of free jazz revised through an ever personal and courageous<\/strong> lens.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
