“le tre partizioni dell’essere vivo: quello che hai, ciò che sei e quel che appari”<\/span>
E’ racchiuso in queste parole il significato del terzo lavoro degli Altare Thotemico, una band capitanata da Gianni Venturi (voce e poesie) che ha fatto della sperimentazione la sua bandiera.<\/span>
Un disco  che, ancora una volta, tende al superamento della ‘catalogazione di genere’ ma che strizza involontariamente l’occhio alle sonorità metal ( Filippo Lambertucci alla batteria)  nel prepotente brano di apertura ‘Non in mio nome’, ai canoni della vecchia scuola del bel rock made in USA (Triumh), complice la voce cristallina di  Marika Pontegavelli (piano e voce) che accompagna il front man e che ricorda da vicino Tarja Turunen (ex Nightwish), ai giri di  bassi  di Giorgio Santisi che fanno capolino più o meno prepotentemente, come nella splendida Schopenauer, e alla scuola italiana degli Area, già percepita all’interno del  loro primo lavoro, Altare Thotemico (2009, etichetta Ma.Ra.Cash). Una sperimentazione ed una ricerca dei dettagli che avvicina sempre più la band alla scuola anglosassone degli IQ, accompagnata da testi rigorosamente italiani che sono veri e propri pugni nello stomaco e che rendono più che mai felice la nostra amata Euterpe.<\/span>
Un lavoro completo, maturo, che coinvolge già al primo ascolto (N.d.R: registrato quasi completamente in presa diretta e con il solo ausilio di due o tre chitarre); 9 tracce che soddisfano anche i palati più esigenti…<\/span>
Un titolo che non dovrebbe mancare, in nessuna libreria musicale…<\/span>

“The three partitions of being alive: what you have, what you are and what you appear”<\/span>
These words contain the meaning of the third work of the Thotemic Altar, a band led by Gianni Venturi (voice and poems) who has made experimentation his flag.<\/span>
A record that, once again, tends to overcome the ‘genre cataloging’ but which involuntarily winks at the metal sounds (Filippo Lambertucci on drums) in the overbearing opening song ‘Non in mio nome’, to the canons of the old school of the beautiful rock made in the USA (Triumh), thanks to the crystalline voice of Marika Pontegavelli (piano and voice) that accompanies the front man and that closely resembles Tarja Turunen (ex Nightwish), to the bass lines of Giorgio Santisi that peek or less forcefully, as in the splendid Schopenauer, and at the Italian school of the Area, already perceived in their first work, Altare Thotemico (2009, label Ma.Ra.Cash). An experimentation and a search for details that brings the band ever closer to the Anglo-Saxon school of IQ, accompanied by strictly Italian lyrics that are real punches in the stomach and that make our beloved Euterpe happy more than ever.<\/span>
A complete, mature work that involves already at the first listening (Editor’s note: recorded almost completely in direct and with only the help of two or three guitars); 9 tracks that satisfy even the most demanding palates …<\/span>
A title that should not be missing in any music library …<\/span>
