Enzo Carella was an italian singer-songwriter who scored a major hit with the song “Barbara” in 1979. It’s one of the songs featured on his second album “Barbara e altri Carella”. This undervalued piece of work was perhaps too avant-garde during the time of release to get the full attention it deserves. Carella worked together with lyricist Pasquale Panella to create his fascinating songs. With the music of artists like Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Genesis in mind he created his own compositions and the result still sounds incredible.
“Barbara e altri Carella” 40th anniversary is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on transparent blue vinyl.
