A new interesting band discovered by the Lizard indie label in Sicily. It?s not easy to imagine the inspired and nocturne post-rock and jazz-rock sounds of The Slowmovies: music for white and black films with a special dedication to Mark Sandman of Morphine.
Dalla Sicilia arrivano gli Slowmovies con un bel cd, lontano da accenti folkloristici mediterranei, ma quasi mitteleuropeo. Egocaine Hits 1920/1933 è un disco pieno di passione, commovente in alcuni passaggi davvero ricchi, in bilico fra jazz e rock di alta qualità. I brani vengono concepiti come piccole soundtrack per film in bianco e nero (da qui il titolo dell?album). Dieci brani compongono il disco, tutti strumentali.
