“Canzone d’amore” è il titolo del nuovo album di Toni Pagliuca (foto), il tastierista delle Orme, band mestrina capace di travolgere il mercato discografico negli anni Settanta con il progressive-pop d’autore. Toni Pagliuca esattamente 50 anni fa entrava a far parte di questa straordinaria band. Ora esce con un album che contiene un inedito e 13 canzoni tra le più belle del repertorio delle Orme (di cui Pagliuca è autore insieme ad Aldo Tagliapietra) eseguite al pianoforte.
Con Canzone d’amore Tony Pagliuca riscive per pianoforte alcuni di questi grandi successi, regalandoci un album molto personale, ricco e intenso di atmosfere. Le famose melodie della band si trasfigurano e assumono una nuova dimensione classica che ne valorizza la ricchezza compositiva.
L’album esce in occasione del 50° anniversario dell’uscita di AD Gloriam della band veneziana LE Orme.

“Canzone d’amore” is the title of the new album by Tony Pagliuca (photo), the keyboardist of Le Orme, a band from Mestre (Venice) able to overwhelm the recording market in the seventies with their progressive-pop music . Tonyu Pagliuca exactly 50 years ago joined this extraordinary band. Now Tony is back with an album that features an unreleased track and 13 songs among the most beautiful of the Le Orme repertoire (of which Pagliuca is author together with Aldo Tagliapietra) performed on the pianoforte.
With Tony Pagliuca’s “Canzone d’amore”, rewrites some of these great successes on the piano, giving us a very personal album, rich and full of intense atmospheres . The famous melodies of the band are transformed and take on a new classical dimension that adds value to its compositional richness.
The album is released on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the release of AD Gloriam.
