“Live for the Working Class” è un’istantanea su quello che per Tenca, bluesman milanese a cavallo tra la musica del Diavolo e il rock di scuola cantautorale, è stato il Blues for the Working Class Tour, circa 70 date in tutta Italia a promuovere l’album di esordio, passando anche oltreoceano a New York e Memphis.
Qualche cover mirata (“Johnny 99”, “John Henry”, entrambe dal repertorio di Bruce Springsteen) e alcuni arrangiamenti diversi per alcuni brani del disco precedente (“49 People”, “Spare Parts”), ma un solo scopo: far riflettere la gente, possibilmente divertendo, sulle tematiche della sicurezza sul lavoro e della precarietà del lavoro.
C’è un solo modo per farlo: poca testa, tutta pancia e tanto Blues elettrico.

“Live for the Working Class” is a snapshot of what the Blues for the Working Class Tour has been for Tenca, a bluesman from Milan in between the Devil’s music and the rock singer-songwriter school: about 70 dates across Italy to promote his debut album, plus overseas concerts New York and Memphis.
Some targeted cover songs (“Johnny 99”, “John Henry”, both from the repertoire of Bruce Springsteen) and some different arrangements for some songs from the previous album (“49 People”, “Spare Parts”), but just one purpose: to make people think, possibly having a good time, on matters of workplace safety and job insecurity.
There is only one way to do it: less mind work and more instinct. And a lot of energetic electric blues!
